At the Law Office of Karol S. Hickey in Taunton, Massachusetts, our focus is on you and the provision of unparalleled and personalized service. One of our main specialties is immigration law, but we also practice family law, handling both, contested and uncontested divorces.
Attorney, Karol Hickey, was born in Lima, Peru, and immigrated to the United States at a very young age. Her focus on immigration law grew from her personal experience with the immigration process. As a result, Karol is passionate about her work and eager to assist her clients. Karol gained extensive knowledge of immigration laws through clinical programs and internships before graduating from Suffolk University Law School in 2015 with a Juris Doctor degree. She participated as a student attorney in the Suffolk University Law School Immigration Clinic program where she represented both detained and non-detained clients. In addition, she was a legal intern for KIND (Kids in Need of Defense) where she accompanied immigrant children to their court hearings and assisted with case status updates. Also before graduating Karol interned for the Office of Chief Counsel at the Immigration and Customs Enforcement in Boston, Massachusetts, where she assisted the attorneys prepare for court and conducted legal research. Before opening her own office, Attorney Karol worked as an associate attorney where she managed the firm’s extensive and complex caseload that consisted of both immigration and family law cases.
